Absolutely loved the breakfast—proper full English!
We faced significant issues with cleanliness during our stay. The bedding was dirty on our first night, with hair and even blood stains, which was simply unacceptable. The floor was not vacuumed either, so we had to clean it ourselves for our small baby. the room was advertised as a family room but was far too small for two adults and a baby.

Absolutely loved the breakfast—proper full English that hits the spot! The host Carl treated us like family, making sure we were comfy and sorted. And don't get me started on the local eateries, JJ's Steak House is just a short stroll away and their steaks are an absolute treat!

would definitely recommend for a weekend
Cozy room, welcoming atmosphere, with an electric kettle for your convenience and free wi-fi that made planning our day easy before heading to the local attractions just a short distance away.
Nothing to be said.

Warm hospitality and cozy atmosphere
From the moment we arrived, Carl and his dad made us feel like part of their family, which was truly special since we hadn't had time together in years. The room was warm and comfortable, with an amazing shower that made for a great start to our day. Breakfast left us stuffed and ready to explore. The location was super convenient for supermarkets and the beach. One downside was the cleanliness of the bedding upon arrival, which left us a bit uneasy.

Free parking and flat-screen TV were great, but no lift was inconvenient.

An enjoyable experience was marred by cleanliness issues, particularly with dirty bedding and a vacuumed floor that needed attention for our small child. Despite this, the wholesome food offered for breakfast was delightful, adding to the overall charm of our stay. Unfortunately, the family room felt cramped and the view was less than ideal, overlooking another lodge instead of a scenic view. Next time, I'd hope for improvements in cleanliness and more spacious accommodations.

only thing was the room felt a bit small for a couple. also, needed a little more cleaning attention in some areas.
